Korea Untangled publishes practical Korea travel information. This page explains how affiliate links will be identified and how they will be kept separate from editorial judgment.
Current status
Korea Untangled has a limited affiliate relationship with KKday. The current pilot places clearly disclosed CTAs on selected Guides where the booking option directly matches the reader’s task. These currently cover the English and Traditional Chinese editions of the Incheon Airport-to-Seoul Guide, plus the English WOWPASS comparison, Korea eSIM comparison, and after-midnight airport-arrival Guides. Other ordinary outbound links do not by themselves mean that Korea Untangled is paid for the link.
How the affiliate link works
Korea Untangled may receive a commission when a reader follows the clearly identified KKday link and completes a qualifying booking. KKday pays the commission; Korea Untangled does not add a separate fee to the reader’s transaction.
The disclosure appears beside the recommendation and before a reader acts. The English disclosure is:
Affiliate disclosure: Korea Untangled may earn a commission if you book through this link. The partner pays the commission; we do not add a separate fee.
A Traditional Chinese CTA carries the same disclosure in Traditional Chinese. A generic label such as “affiliate link” is not used as the only explanation.
The affiliate links use the link relationship required for paid links and open KKday’s public HTTPS page. The URL contains the KoreaUntangled partner identifier and locale-specific campaign identifiers. Under the KKday affiliate terms reviewed on August 25, 2026, referral attribution may last up to 30 days and a later affiliate click may replace an earlier referral. KKday, not Korea Untangled, controls its current prices, availability, booking, payment, cancellation, refund, account, tracking and customer-support rules.
Korea Untangled’s own site counts viewable impressions and clicks for these CTAs as daily first-party aggregates. It does not create an affiliate cookie or store a visitor or session identifier, full IP address, browser string, referrer or page URL, URL query, destination URL, order or revenue in that aggregate report. These site totals are used to compare CTA usefulness and placement; KKpartners remains the source for attributed bookings and commission. See the Privacy Policy for the full fields, rate-limit safeguard and retention period.
Editorial independence
Payment eligibility does not buy a ranking, factual conclusion or positive review. Korea Untangled will select a link only when it is relevant to the reader’s task and will continue to state important limits, failure points and direct alternatives. A partner cannot purchase a “Field-tested” label or a newer verification date.
Your choice
You do not have to use an affiliate link. You may search for the same provider directly or choose another provider. Before paying, check the destination service’s current price, terms, cancellation policy, supported payment methods and privacy policy.
For information about referral identifiers and destination-site data handling, read the Privacy Policy.
Contact
Questions about a disclosure or a possible undisclosed commercial relationship may be sent to [email protected]. Include the page URL and the link or wording you are asking about. Do not send payment-card details, passwords, authentication codes or full booking references.
Changes
This page will be updated whenever an active partner, disclosure practice or tracking method materially changes. Each active CTA has its own review deadline in site metadata and stops rendering automatically after that date unless the destination, partner terms and disclosure are reviewed again.
