Korea Untangled aims to make practical travel instructions accurate, current and clear. Rules, prices, schedules, apps and service support can change after publication, so readers are encouraged to report a possible error.
How to report a correction
Email [email protected] and include:
- the Guide title or URL;
- the sentence, table, step or link that may be wrong;
- what you believe changed;
- a current official or first-party source when available; and
- whether the issue could create an immediate safety, entry, payment or travel-disruption risk.
The website’s private Correction form is currently disabled. When it is enabled later, the Privacy Policy and this page will be updated before public reports are collected.
Do not include sensitive information
Do not send passport or identity-document numbers, payment or bank details, passwords, authentication codes, full booking references, detailed medical information, private room or home addresses, or information about another person. Do not attach screenshots until we confirm that the file is necessary and safe to receive.
How reports are reviewed
We compare the claim against current official or first-party sources, the Guide’s verification record and any applicable field-test evidence. High-impact safety, immigration, payment-loss and time-sensitive transport issues receive priority.
A report may result in a correction, clarification, source replacement, stronger warning, additional fallback, new verification date or no change. A report is not accepted automatically merely because a link or screenshot was supplied.
Public change logs
A substantive published correction should receive a dated factual entry in the affected Guide’s change log. Minor spelling, punctuation or formatting fixes may be made without a separate entry. Public change logs do not identify the reporter or reproduce private correspondence.
Independence and conflicts
Payment, sponsorship, advertising or a first-party product relationship does not purchase a favorable factual conclusion. PastHere Seoul is an OffVoice product, so related content is identified as first-party rather than described as an independent review.
Response limits
We monitor the corrections mailbox regularly but do not promise an individual reply or fixed resolution time. Korea Untangled is not an emergency service. For an emergency in South Korea, call 112 for police or 119 for fire, rescue or medical help.
