Plan one person’s travel per card. Eligible free travel, under-6 rules and group tickets need an operator-confirmed fare.

This is the operator’s station-pair quote, not a route finder. A different path can have a different fare. Enter the final fare from your chosen route if it differs. AREX here means All-stop, never the separately ticketed Express.

Only station names are sent for fare lookup. Your balance and plan stay in this tab and are lost on refresh.

What this planner checks

Distance & extra fares

Ordinary metro: first 10 km, then 5 km bands to 50 km and 8 km bands beyond. Shinbundang section charges stay separate. Station quotes retain special fares and operator discounts.

Transfer conditions

Seoul bus combinations use the highest base fare and combined distance. The planner checks tap-out, transfer time, repeated bus routes and the four-transfer limit. A single Seoul bus ride uses a flat fare.

Exceptions with a clear next step

AREX independent sections mixed with buses, GTX, other-region buses, missed taps, re-entry exceptions, long mixed-trip fare caps, free-pass eligibility and special tickets use a final confirmed fare. Climate passes and K-Pass reimbursements are not Tmoney loading discounts.

Sources & verification

Official source checks support the calculation rules. This is a planning tool; no independent ride or gate-deduction test has been carried out. English station aliases cover the published Seoul Metro names plus common editorial search aliases; all listed stations can be searched in Korean.
